My working passion is the crafts of details in clothing.

My craft related view on garments make them look richer. Details like; the variety of artwork technics, clean garment finishing’s, clear stitching’s, washings and different textures in fabrics. Makes me a tactile designer who gives experience on tangibility.

 

With my technical background I can develop samples and give knowledge of patterns, shapes, measurements and fittings.

Next to this I am not only a designer who’s only driven by design structures.

I always keep my eyes open for more clear visualizations to strengthen the current concept. I like to do research to find side-pats for new seasonal looks, cut&sews that stay in line with the Brand ideas.

I love traveling, try to get as much different Nature experiences I can from the World. These trips gives me personal wide original inspiration to use in many ways for design.  I also visite international Fashion fairs. This will inspire me to find out what are the trends on different places in the world and how is their culture and religion combine their clothing with the modern Fashion trends.

 

At the moment I am All-round skilled on the end of an entry level, I am strong, willing and proactive enough to take a step to an intermediate level.

Next to this I am a very enterprising person, I make myself strong for a sustainable and circular fashion world by making clothes 100% cradle to cradle in cooperation with women in south Morocco. This project will run next to my current work in the Netherlands as designer.
